Terms of Service

1. Who can use Kwirl AI

Kwirl AI is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the service. By signing in you confirm that you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly provide the service to minors and will close accounts we believe belong to them.

2. Your account

You sign in with your Kwirl account. Sign-in is the only thing Kwirl AI shares with other Kwirl products; your chats, files, credits and settings stay inside Kwirl AI. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for everything done with your account. Enable two-factor authentication in Settings.

3. Credits and payment

Kwirl AI is pay-as-you-go. You buy credits (1 credit = $0.01) and each request is charged at the price shown for the model that answered, including any cached-input discount. Prices can change when providers change theirs; every change is listed on the public price changelog with its effective date. Credits do not expire and are non-transferable. Welcome credits require a verified email address and are limited to one per person and device. Refunds are issued for failed requests automatically; other refunds are at our discretion and required by law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Kwirl AI to:

• generate content that sexualises minors, or any content that is illegal where you live;
• harass, threaten, defame or impersonate others;
• attempt to extract API keys, bypass credit accounting, or probe other users' data;
• run tools or code that attacks third-party systems or evades our sandbox restrictions;
• resell access to the service or the models behind it.

Requests go to third-party model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, Mistral, DeepSeek and others) under their usage policies. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or a provider's policy.

5. AI output

Models make mistakes. Output can be inaccurate, incomplete or biased and is not professional advice. You are responsible for how you use it. We show which model answered every message and why it was chosen; when a conversation touches on self-harm or crisis we route to a more careful model and display support resources. Kwirl AI is not a substitute for emergency services or professional care.

6. Your content

You own what you send and what the models produce for you. You grant us the licence needed to run the service: store your chats, send them to the model you chose, and show them back to you. We do not train models on your content. Share links are unlisted, excluded from search engines and can be revoked at any time.

7. Termination and deletion

You can delete chats or your whole account from Settings. Deleted data is removed from our systems within 30 days except where we must keep billing records. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

8. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law our total liability is limited to the credits you purchased in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Kwirl AI after that date means you accept the new terms.
